Casual Relief Teachers

We are always seeking New Zealand registered teachers to provide day-relief.

HOD Food and Nutrition / Hospitality - 1MU + 1MMA

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated teacher to join our Vocational Pathways Faculty and lead/teach Food and Nutrition and Hospitality across a range of year levels, to commence in Term 1, 2026.

This leadership position would suit an experienced teacher with proven organisational, curriculum development, and team leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective Food and Nutrition and Hospitality lessons.
• Assessing and reporting student progress in line with school policies.
• Contributing to the development and review of curriculum and resources.
• Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
• Leading and managing the Food and Nutrition / Hospitality department, curriculum oversight, and staff support.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified and registered teacher with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
• Has a strong knowledge and experience of Food and Nutrition and Hospitality principles and practices.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is passionate about student achievement and well-being.
• Is a collaborative team player.
• Has leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
