Library Card
Your student ID card is also your library card.
Borrowing
There is no limit to the number of items you may borrow.
Loan Duration
Three weeks for books, two weeks for magazines, one week for DVDs.
Renewals
You may renew items twice, providing no one else has placed a hold.
Returns
There is a Returns Slot in the desk, on the left, as you enter the library.
Holds
"On loan" or "In process" items can be placed on hold via the catalogue or in person.
Collections
We have a wide range of books, magazines and DVDs, for learning and enjoyment.Magazines are grouped together in alphabetical order, as are DVDs. There is no charge to borrow either Movies or Documentaries.
In our library we organise the book collection by genre. This style of organisation is also known as Living Rooms. Our Living Rooms reflect the structure and culture of our school, with each containing Factual (real life) and Fiction (make believe) titles consecutively.
Books with a yellow sticker on the spine are Dyslexia Friendly. Books with a silver sticker on the spine are most suitable for older readers.

Factual: Humorous real life incidents and anecdotes.
Fiction: Stories that frequently make you smile or laugh.
Manga
Factual: How to create Japanese style comics and characters.
Fiction: Japanese style comics.
Picture Books
Picture Books: Highly visual books for young and developing readers.
Sophisticated Picture Books: Highly visual books for older readers. They have layered meanings and complexities.
